A four year old Labrador bitch was presented with persistent right hind limb limbing and non-responsive to conservative treatment. Haemogram revealed leukocytosis with normal biochemical parameters. Survey radiograph of hock region and digits showed multifocal lysis of distal tibial end and tarsal bones suggestive of bone pathology. Since radiographic lesions showed progression of disease and metastasis in thoracic cavity, amputation of hind limb at stifle joint was performed. Animal recovered uneventfully and histomorphological features of affected bone confirmed osteosarcoma.
