Abstract

The report records changes in biochemical and haematological parameters in a 7 year old Jaffarabadi buffalo affected with post-parturient haemoglobinuria. The buffalo was treated with inorganic buffered phosphorus and supportive treatment. The mean serum phosphorus level in affected buffalo was lower compared with reference range. In the meantime, blood RBC and Hb values were also lower. The buffalo respond to treatment and recovered completely after third day of treatment.
