The present report describes clinical findings and successful management of acute gangrenous mastitis in a crossbred cow. The quick action of the owner and an excellent history were the key factors for successful recovery. Also we were lucky to choose the antibiotics to which the isolated organisms were sensitive on cultural sensitivity test.
