Abstract

Degnala disease characterised by development of oedema, necrosis and gangrene of dependents parts like legs, tail, ears, teats and tongue was observed in bovines in winter months because of harvesting and feeding of paddy contamination with Mycotoxins of Fusarium spp. Sulphate salts, acetylarsan, oxytetracycline LA, milk with iodine injection etc. were found effective for treatment of the condition in animals.
