The study was undertaken in total 15 sheep and lambs aged between 4 months to 5 years with history of lantana ingestion. The major clinical manifestations in sheep recorded were inappetence, desiccation of faeces, lacrimal discharge, swelling of eye lid and ear base, oligouria with dark yellow coloured urine, atony of rumen and dried muzzle and pale mucous membrane. Combined treatment comprised of fluid therapy, activated charcoal, purgative, ruminal rejuvenator and liver tonics. Treatment was successful for improved fermentation activity rumen of microbial population, restoring normalcy and cure.
