Abstract

A Crossbred Jersey cow in its first parity was presented with history of complete gestation and straining for last 24 hours without any further progress. Gynecological examination revealed 180° pre-cervical right uterine torsion. The animal was casted on same side of torsion and rolled using four strong round wooden logs joined together. After third roll, torsion could be completely corrected and a dead male fetus was removed by gentle traction.
