Abstract

A buffalo heifer reported with end term straining and labor pain with lateral recumbency. Cervical dilatation was complete and birth canal was dry. The fetus was dead and in anterior presentation, dorso-sacral position with extreme left deviation of fetal head and neck. After failure of mutation, extraction and fetomy, caesarean section was performed for removal of dead calf. After an effective post operative care, buffalo conceived after 4 months.
