A four year old jersey cow in second calving was presented with history of protrusion of mass through the vulva after eight hours of calving. On clinical examination, animal was apparently healthy and showed moderate tenesmus. The prolapsed uterus was engorged, edematous, soiled with feces, straw, dirt and blood clots. The prolapsed uterus was clinically managed, repositioned and modified Buhner's suture was applied. Animal had an uneventful recovery.
