Uterine prolapse in bitches is a rare clinical condition. An eight years old Spitz bitch was presented to the hospital with a history of uterine prolapse after whelping. The present case suggests that, there is no need to go for emergency ovariohysterectomy, instead manual reduction followed by ovariohysterectomy after weaning the pups can be undertaken in uncomplicated cases of uterine prolapse.
