A pregnant Murrah buffalo was presented with history of red water urine along with anorexia, dull and marked body weight loss. Clinical finding revealed in weakness, haemolytic aneamia, dyspnea, tachycardia, dehydration and haemoglobinuria. The biochemical examination showed low level of blood phosphorus. The buffalo was treated with inorganic buffered phosphorus, inosine and sodium pyruvate, dextrose and multivitamin injections. Animal recovered fully.
