Twenty four sub-estrus crossbred cattle were divided into two groups. All animals were pre-treated with Closantel; Inorganic phosphorous with Inosine and Sodium pyruvate; Vitamin A, D3, E and H and chelated mineral and vitamin oral supplementation for one week. Both groups were synchronized by Ovsynch protocol. After second dose of Buserelin, timely artificial insemination was undertaken in both groups. The cattle from Group-II were given similar ovsynch treatment as Group-I animals, additionally with Flunixin meglumine on 13th and 14th day after insemination. The first service conception rate in group-I and group-II was 50.00 (6/12) and 66.66 (8/12) percent, respectively. The results indicated that inclusion of Flunixin meglumine in Ovsynch protocol on 13th and 14th day improved conception rate and clinical efficacy.
