Therapeutic Management of Puppy pyoderma

A two month old dull, anorectic male labrador retriever pup was presented with symptoms of severe moist erythematous lesions surrounded with crusts, scabs and papules throughout the facial area including the ear folds. The condition was diagnosed as juvenile pyoderma based on symptoms and culture examination. The dog was successfully managed with Cefpodoxime.
