Abstract

A retrospective study on canine leptospirosis was conducted during February-October ’2013. Three hundred and eighty dogs were screened and blood plasma and urine were subjected to Dark Field Microscopy (DFM). This study showcases the importance of DFM in early diagnosis of leptospirosis and also the need for development of modified vaccine against leptospirosis.
