A pup was presented with dropped lower lip and incisors, inability to eat, severe pain on jaw manipulation and severe salivation. Lateral radiograph revealed bilateral mandibular fracture between 2nd and 3rd premolars. The fractures were immobilized with two K-wires, external molded plastic splint and tape muzzle. The pup was maintained with Dextrose saline for three days and oral liquid diet for next four days followed by soft diet. The external splint and tape muzzle were removed on seventh day. Follow up radiograph after one month revealed fracture union with minimum callus and K-wires were removed. Clinical examination revealed rigid fracture union and painless manipulation. The pup recovered uneventfully.
