The clinical study was undertaken in bovines with symptoms suggestive of ketosis along with laboratory diagnosis. Lowered blood glucose concentration was not observed in one cow while observed in all others. Therapeutic regimen was advocated as per varied physiological conditions. Parentral dextrose, steriods, Vitamin B-complex injection along with oral gloconeogenic precursors and Jaggery ensured timely recovery with no relapse.
