Fifteen Holstein Frisien crossbred cows in healthy state were introduced into the herd. Out of them, 10 animals started showing dullness, depression, fever and decline in milk production. Treatment with Oxytetracycline could not cure and examination revealed Koch blue bodies in peripheral blood smear and in lymph node biopsy. On laboratory confirmation, all the animals were treated with Buparvaquone and supportive therapy.
