Abstract

A eight year old multiparous crossbred Holstein Friesian cow was presented with congenital growth in palmar aspect of distal phalanx of right forelimb, which was bleeding following trauma. The mass was firm and non-fluctuating with a wide base. The mass was excised as closely as possible and post-operatively, antibiotics and analgesics were given. Histopathology revealed that growth was lipoma.
