Efficacy of three anthelmintics against fasciolosis in caprines was evaluated based on qualitative and quantitative examination of fecal samples. A total of 40 fasciolosis affected goats having egg per gram (EPG) more than 100 were randomly allotted to four different treatment groups with 10 goats in each treatment group. Affected goats of treatment group-I, II and III were treated orally with Closental, Triclabendazole + Ivermectin and Oxyclozanide + Levamisole, respectively. While, goats of group-IV were kept as control without any treatment. On 7th day of treatment, efficacy of Closental, Triclabendazole + Ivermectin and Oxyclozanide + Levamizole was 99.63, 100 and 94.74%, respectively. The efficacy of above drugs was 100, 100 and 97.38% on 30th day, respectively. Early diagnosis and treatment with newer drugs for fasciolosis in goats is advised to reduce economic losses.
