A dog with hypertrophic osteopathy (Marie's disease) characterized by enlargement/swelling of all four limbs with severe pain, lameness, difficulty in walking, dyspnoea and cough was presented. Diagnosis and treatment was undertaken, which however could not be continued due to non-compliance.
