Six puppies with sausage shaped intestinal mass protruded from anal opening were presented for treatment. The pups were anorectic and unable to pass faeces. Differential diagnosis from rectal prolapse was made by passing a blunt probe through side of prolapsed mass in the anal opening. Laparotomy was done and intussusceptions were reduced manually. All puppies recovered uneventfully.
