The study was conducted in two groups (A and B) to evaluate the laparoscopic and laparoscope assisted ovariectomy on 8 female dogs, aged 5–12 months and weighed 5–10 kg. presented for elective sterilization. The laparoscope assisted ovariectomy was found clinically more suitable with little post-operative care. It should be adopted for reproductive sterilization of female dogs as an alternate method.
