A queen was brought with swelling of left ear and diagnosed as haematoma. A sterile padding (thick cardboard) relative to size of haematoma was selected and padded with gauze and cotton to serve as auricular pillow and was applied at convex side and supported over head with adhesive tape. The bandage was changed on alternate days and antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs were advised for seven days. The cat had an uneventful recovery.
