Abstract

A Rottweiler male pup was presented with history of respiratory distress, persist coughing, salivation, severe uneasiness and disinclined for food and water. Radiographic examination revealed radiopaque foreign body in trachea at level of carina. Under general anesthesia, pup was suspended upside down and thumped on thorax to bring the foreign body near epiglottis. When the object shifted from original position to near to laryngeal opening, it was retrieved out with the help of magill forceps under C-Arm observation. The foreign body was retrieved and pup recovered uneventfully.
