A successful treatment of mid cervical esophageal obstruction caused by a regurgitated, large sized tricho-phytobezoar in a buffalo heifer by cervical esophagotomy under xylazine sedation is placed on record and discussed. The foreign body was confirmed to be trichobezoar on bisection of the same.
