Abstract

Two crossbred cows had irreducible ventral hernia as enterocele and entero-epiplocele on the left lower flank. They were successfully surgically treated with polypropylene mesh implantation and omentalisation. No major complication was observed post surgery, neither hernial recurrence was recorded in 18 months of follow up.
