Abstract

Gid was diagnosed in three caprines based on history of bleating, head pressing against wall, circling movements, softening of skull bones at occipital region and confirmed by dorso-ventral computed radiography of skull. All goats were treated surgically by removal of cyst by trephining of occipital bone. Post-operative care was undertaken for five days. All goats recovered uneventfully.
