A crossbred calf was presented with history of traumatic laceration of upper left eyelid. Physical examination revealed laceration of full thickness involving more than one half of horizontal length of eyelid. Local anaesthesia for upper eyelid was achieved using supraorbital nerve block. Upper eyelid was reconstructed to normal appearance. Routine post-operative therapy was given and animal had an uneventful recovery.
