Five bovines were presented with history of colic, lethargy and inappetance. Four animals also showed complete absence of defecation and remaining one cow showed very little quantity of faeces with blood and mucous for one day and later on complete absence of defecation. Considering the signs, all animals were suspected for intestinal obstruction and right flank laprotomy was performed for correction of intestinal obstruction. Three out of five cases recovered uneventfully.
