Four adult buffaloes were presented with history of unilateral swelling on the right side of vulval lip. The condition was diagnosed as perineal hernia and corrected surgically under local infiltration in standing position. Buffaloes showed normal urination, defecation just after surgery and uneventful recovery thereafter.
