Three calves were presented with history of seepage of urine through the umbilical region since its birth and soft reducible swelling at the umbilicus. Clinical examination revealed hernial ring. Contrast radiographic examination revealed accumulation of radio dense contrast agent with in the distended urachus. A hyperechoic area of urachus was observed by ultrasound examination. Based on the clinical, radiological and ultrasonographic examination, the condition was diagnosed umbilical hernia with patent urachus. Surgical correction was made with herniorrhaphy and laparotomy. The animal made an uneventful recovery.
