A crossbred calf was presented with history of swelling at the ventral abdominal wall at the point of umbilicus since birth. Reducible hernia with three finger diameter of oval hernial ring was observed, hence herniorraphy was performed. Antibiotics and analgesics were administered following surgery and calf recovered uneventfully.
