A crossbred cow was referred with recurrent incisional ventral hernia after caesarean section to relieve the foetus followed by dystocia. The animal developed incisional hernia twice at the site of caesarean section. Under general anesthesia and animal in dorsal recumbency, hernioplasty using polypropylene mesh was undertaken to correct the abdominal defect. The animal made an uneventful recovery without any post operative complications.
