Surgical Management of Pre-partum Cervico-vaginal Prolapse-A Report of Six Cows

Abstract

Six cows with pre-partum cervico-vaginal prolapse reported with history of severe straining and partial part of vaginal floor and cervix were exposed outside during mid to advance pregnancy period. The prolapsed mass was washed with mild solution of Potassium permanganate and with applying palm pressure repositioned in to the pelvic cavity and applied rope trust. All cows recovered and delivered normally after surgery, fluid therapy and operative care.
