Abstract

Locomotar dysfunction in animals and its survival has remained a big challenge in Veterinary science. ‘Animal Prosthetic Limb’ is an innovative approach to rehabibitate amputee animals with comfortable mobility, maintaining productivity of elite animal and enhancing their life span. Homopolymer of polypropylene thermoplastic substance of varied thickness as per the body weight of the animal is used in monolimb design of animal prosthetic limb and useful in transmetacarpal and transmetatarsal amputee animals to help them walk, run, move, sit and stand comfortably.
