A total of 102 suspected blood samples from crossbred cattle were screened for blood parasites. These animals were infested with ticks and aged between 1–8 years with clinical symptoms such as anorexia, pyrexia, enlarged superficial lymph nodes, pale conjuctival mucus membrane, haemoglobinuria, nasal discharge and teeth grinding. All animals found positive were treated with Diminazine diaceturate (babesiosis) and Oxytetracycline (anaplasmosis).
