Abstract

A bullock was presented with perforated rumen on left flank at the level of seventh intercostal space and abnormal distal bulging dorsal to scrotal sac. Clinical examination revealed presence of wooden stick inside the rumen extended along with long axis of rumen running caudally upto the dorsal of scrotal sac. Laparo-rumentomy was performed for it's removal. No involvement of diaphragm or other vital internal organs was observed. Foreign body was removed and tract was repaired. The animal recovered uneventfully after post-operative care.
