The communication reports successful management of lead poisoning caused due to ingestion of Vermilon (sindoor) in a cattle presented with symptoms of lead poisoning. Animal recovered well after treatment with EDTA @ 110mg/kg b. wt. intravenously along with antibiotics, NSAIDs, rumenotorics, tonics and intravenous fluid therapy.
