The study was aimed to evaluate prevalence of hemoprotozoan parasitic infection of cattle and associated hematobiochemical alterations. A total of 859 blood samples were processed for hemoprotozoan examination. An overall prevalence of 28.17 percent was recorded for all samples examined. The seasonal incidence was 49.76 percent in summer, 24.39 percent in monsoon, 16.09 percent in post monsoon and 9.76 percent in winter. The hemoparasites identified alone or in combination with others had a significant effect on the mean hemoglobin and packed cell volume values of infected animals. Similarly, hemoparasites infection in young animals as well as during the dry season resulted in significant reduction of hemoglobin and packed cell volume values.
