Abstract

A Pitbull dog was presented with history of growths over body, bleeding from penis, weight loss, lethargy and anorexia. The characteristic round vacuolated cells were seen in impression smears, while morulae of Ehrlichia spp. were seen in the neutrophils in blood smear confirming canine transmissible venereal tumor and ehrlichiosis. The treatment regimens consisted of periodically planned administration of Doxycyline and Vincristine sulphate along with supportive therapy. The recovery was uneventful.
