Acute mortality was recorded in a flock of 28 sheep, 6 sheep died with diarrhea, dullness and pale mucus membranes. Post-mortem examination revealed numerous adult worms in abomasum. Based on signs and diagnosis, Haemonchus contortus infection was confirmed. The remaining animals were treated with Ivermectin along with iron supplementation. Animals recovered uneventfully.
