Copromicroscopic examination was undertaken for detection of Spirocera lupi eggs in naturally infected dogs. A total of 562 dog faecal samples were screened by three different methods, i.e. Faecal sedimentation, Sheather's sugar flotation and Sodium nitrate flotation techniques, which revealed 17 positives for S. lupi eggs with a prevalence rate of 3.02. Comparative analysis of all these copromicroscopic techniques revealed 1.06, 2.84 and 3.02 percent sensitivity by sedimentation, Sheather's sugar flotation and Sodium nitrate flotation technique respectively.
