Abstract

The study reports isolation, identification and molecular detection of Brucella abortus. Four (04) clinical samples positive for Brucella abortus by culture isolation were further confirmed by PCR. Molecular characterization of Brucella abortus BCSP-31 gene (protein which frequently elicits an immune response during infection) was successfully done.
