A female buffalo calf was presented with round soft mass increasing in size since birth on right lateral aspect of face between lateral canthus of eye and ear base. On centesis and ultrasonography, it was diagnosed to be a soft tissue growth. Surgical excision of mass was performed aseptically under general anaesthesia. The root of the mass was attached to atlanto-occipital region of vertebral column. On histopathology, it was confirmed as lipoma. The animal recovered uneventfully.
