Prostaglandin advocated intracervical as well parenterally assisted parturition induction and cervical dilatation in bovines. Cervical dilatation was found to be initiated within 05.62 ± 00.67 hours in cows and 6.0 ± 0.73 hours in buffaloes. The mean time interval between treatment and calving was found to be 70.62 ± 06.98 hours in cows and 73.66 ± 06.78 hours in buffaloes.
