Ten cows affected with clinical mastitis were selected for the study based on clinical symptoms and change in milk consistency. The cows were treated with Cefquinome sulphate @ 1mg/kg b. wt. intramuscularly for five days. Therapeutic efficacy was assessed on the basis of clinical improvement and restoration of somatic cell count and biochemical profile. It was evident that cows treated with Cefquinome sulphate had 100 percent clinical efficacy in clinical mastitis.
