A bullock was presented with history of lacerated wound, posterior to right metatarsal by harrow blade and fourth degree lameness in affected limb. There was excessive extension of right hind limb at fetlock and fetlock touched the ground indicating rupture of both superficial and deep digital flexor tendons. Tenorrhaphy was planned under general anaesthesia. The affected limb after tenorrhaphy was supported with plaster of paris cast and bamboo splint externally. Post-operatively, analgesics, antibiotics and supportive treatment were given for five days. Plaster of paris cast was removed on 45th day post-operatively and animal showed uneventful recovery.
