During twenty five months study, a total of 12240 blood samples were examined and 6609 samples were found positive for theileria. Severe anemia was observed in 983 animals with hemoglobin levels were between 1 to 3g%. Total leukocytic count and thrombocytic counts were higher than normal range in complicated cases. These complications include pneumonia, melena, constipation, metritis and mastitis complexes. Increased serum enzymes levels were observed in all infected animals. Forty five (45) animals died during the course of disease and representative post-mortem lesions included punched ulcers in abomasum, multifocal liver necrosis, splenomegaly, enlarged of lymph nodes, hemorrhages on epicardium and endocardium and kidneys, lung edema and variable degree of pneumonia. Therapeutic management with Buparvaquone and Furosemide combination along with intravenous Iron dextran in 25% Dextrose was beneficial in severely anemic animals, where lung edema was observed. Relapse of theileriosis were observed in animals, when ticks were removed manually.
