A Pomeranian mixed breed pup was referred with intermittent regurgitation immediately after suckling without any prodromal nausea or any apparent abdominal effort. The condition persisted since birth and all other pups of litter were normal and healthy. All physical parameters were found to be within range and animal was active with no signs of malnutrition or weakness. A contrast esophagram revealed diffusely dilated esophagus consistent with megaesophagus. The treatment was conservative and only included dietary guidelines.
