A dog was presented with history of swelling in neck region, frothy salivation, dullness, depression, abnormal gait and recumbency. The dog was diagnosed for snake bite based on history and physical examination. Hematology and biochemical investigation revealed increased total leukocyte count, elevated creatinine and total protein with normal BUN. The dog was successfully treated with anti-snake venom, corticosteroid, fluid therapy and antibiotic along with careful monitoring.
