Abstract
A boxer dog exhibited signs of anorexia, weakness, coughing and respiratory distress. On peripheral blood smear examination, the condition was diagnosed as babesiosis caused by Babesia gibsoni. The patient was treated with inj. Diminazine aceturate followed by Tab. Azithromycin for ten days. There was complete recovery after treatment.
